It was an absolute delight to meet Chef Jeremy Chan @jeremychanikoyi at his avant-garde restaurant Ikoyi @ikoyi_london.

After having read every article and watched every interview available of Chef Jeremy and about Ikoyi, it was only befitting to experience this abode of gastronomic excellence in person.

Indeed this is a journey through bold heat with recipes where best of the ingredients produced locally and internationally are used to bring out the maximum umami in each creation.

Service is beautifully paced and staff members are very accommodating in explaining what’s on the plate and answering questions I had.

As I often say, we should eat not just to fill our belly but to nourish our mind, soul and spirit. This was one such experience complemented by the gorgeously designed interiors by @studiodavidthulstrup.
